The first thing I've done in a long time that I actually like. I painted it for my brother, since Mudkip is his favourite. Plus I really wanted to paint an under water scene.

The artist shows off their skills with an adorable mudkip. The look of mischief is quite appropriate for the subject and is well done. The under water effects add a much appreciated depth to the painting. Even in water, the Mudkip looks a little clumsy with it's splayed legs and is cute and worth a good spirited chuckle. The amount of work is apparent in the finer details of it's cheeks and the fanciful background. The overall piece looks playful and a touch cheeky. No less than excellent, as is expected from the artist. I look forward to any future paintings by TheDayIsSaved. My curiosity for future Pokemon based works is peeked. Well done!
